Demonstration Project for Oakmont New Homes Watertight in Just Five Days

TALO's latest residential scheme for Oakmont Contracting Ltd is at Holyport near Maidenhead, developed by Oakmont New Homes.

This is a Demonstration Project which showcases our expanded range of housebuilding solutions that are redefining the delivery of ultra-low energy homes:

• Advanced timber superstructure – watertight home in just 5 days
• New brick cladding system – to increase standardisation, optimise material use and reduce time on site
• Lightweight foundation solution to reduce cost and waste to landfill.

Holyport will be a zero-carbon, energy-positive home, achieved by combining:

• TALO's highly insulated, airtight timber superstructure
• Integrated solar and battery storage to power electric underfloor heating
• MVHR for controlled ventilation and heat recovery.

Our approach combines building fabric performance and an energy strategy to deliver homes with radically lower running costs and a far better living environment for the home buyer.
