Developer Interview - How Balma is Building Smarter, Faster and Greener Homes with TALO

In this interview with James Everest, MD of The Balma Group, he shares his experience of using the TALO offsite timber superstructure system for Balma's latest residential development.
The Croft Mews scheme comprises eight ultra-low energy mews-style homes for private rent — providing much-needed family housing in the town of Edenbridge.
By specifying the TALO solution, The Balma Group was able to achieve a watertight structure for all eight homes in just 15 days, with the entire project progressing from order to completion of installation in around four months - an estimated six-month programme saving.
As James explains, our approach allows developers to:
- Deliver reduced energy bills in a cost-of-living crisis.
- Bring homes to market sooner in line with the Government’s objectives
- Improve ROI and confidence for investors.
Following the success of Croft Mews, Balma is now appraising every new site with the TALO system in mind.
