Project Update - The Thursdays Development in Surrey

The Thursdays development in Grayshott, Surrey for MJE Properties is nearing completion.

This scheme demonstrates really well the design flexibility of TALO's offsite timber superstructure system really well - from mews-style low rise housing to detached executive homes.

As with all TALO projects, this scheme will exceed Passivhaus energy standards, as standard, to radically reduce energy bills.

Designed by C7 Architects, the development has thermally efficient timber doors and triple glazed windows that were pre-installed in the TALO factory in Finland to achieve a higher standard of finish.

The TALO system ensured the five-bedroom house was completely watertight in only four days, giving the contractor more time to focus on the high specification finishes, internally and externally.

Externally, the house is clad in brickwork, timber and stone to complement the local architecture.
